All started off-line with DOOM in 1993, but then while the internet was slowly spreading out...
In the shadowy corridors of "Doom", my journey began in 1993. By 1999, I emerged online as "mASSACRE", navigating the gritty landscapes of "Quake 3 Arena"'s "Urban Terror" mod. Early EU 2000s Clans like =KRU=, T@V*, and [AoG], Then later on around 2012, I ventured into the competitive echelons of "OBLIVION e-sports" as a designer, player & Team-leader. A former tier 1 player in Battlefield 3 and 4, I've led communities, scouted and coached talents, and handled public relations. Off the digital battlegrounds, I've thrived as a handball athlete for 12yrs and now practice calisthenics as fitness practice. By profession, I've been involved in inumerous areas of Multimedia/Audiovisuals.Love all sides of arts, specially music and cinema. My life intersects numerous domains.
Growing up, I was heavily into the "From Beyond" album by Massacre, an old-school Death Metal band from Florida. Its intense themes of gore, blood, and guts resonated with the type of Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch games I played, inspiring my gaming nicknames: "mASSACRE," "mASS," and "mSCR." Over time, I phased out these monikers as registering them on websites and communities became increasingly challenging due to terms and conditions constraints.
Despite what many might think, my username isn't inspired by any anime character. Back in the Battlefield 3 days, I needed a handle, and my usual nickname 'mASSACRE' was barred for obvious reasons. I ended up choosing 'NoFaceSoldier' after a quick search led me to an avatar of a green plastic toy soldier, his face obscured by shadows. To avoid confusion with another player in our organization during the Battlefield 4 era, I shortened it to 'NoFace'.
